National DaHar Support Forum – (DSF) was established under the DaHar project in Bulgaria

Port assessment in Dunaújváros

After its data gathering preparation period the DaHar project continues with the assessment of participant ports. We’re currently in the middle of this stage, experts have already examined the ports of Ennshafen (AU), Giurgiu (RO) and Galati (RO) respectively, and they intend to do the same at 4-5 June 2012 in Dunaújváros (HU). The assessments of Bratislava (SK), Novi Sad (SRB), Vukovar (HR), Silistra (BG) and Lom (BG) will take place until this October.

Deep dive - 2nd round

The Partnership of the DaHar project is now preparing for the 2nd Round of the Deep Dive process, as we plan to gather for port visits in Goiurgiu and Galati in Romania. The 2nd IWT Lab starts on the 23rd of April, 2012 in Giurgiu and ends on the 25th in Galati. After visiting the ports and discussing the Status Quo reports of each location, the Project Partners – with the help of local and international experts – enter into a SWOT analysis.

Around the IWT Labs the hosts will hold pressconferences in order to raise the awareness level in their country for the DaHar project and for its goal the inland harbour development.

First step into the “Deep Dive”!

On March 6-8, 2012., the partners of DaHar gathered together in Ennshafen, to make the first step into the deep dive process of the project. Our 1st IWT Lab meeting focused on the port of Enns. We have gathered great inputs from our hosts (thank you Ennshafen!) and from all the partners.
